  • What

This international Erasmus+ course explores didactic and pedagogical accessibility as essential foundations of meaningful inclusion. It explains how teachers can make learning accessible to every student. The course connects accessibility with students’ individual needs, participation, autonomy, and successful learning. Attention is given to identifying learning barriers and designing appropriate adaptations rather than relying solely on individual compensation.

It highlights how accessible teaching approaches can make lessons clearer, more flexible, and easier to manage for teachers and learners alike. Participants will examine how task design, learning materials, classroom organisation and co-teaching can remove barriers to learning. They will discover how differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning can respond to learner diversity from the outset. Through theory, practical workshops, collaborative analysis and reflection, participants will transform inclusive principles into classroom practice.

Drawing on research and professional expertise, the course reflects INSEI’s leading work in inclusive education, disability, and educational accessibility. Participants will benefit from the interdisciplinary perspectives of INSEI researchers, trainers and experts working across education and special educational needs.

The five-day programme offers an international space to exchange practices, compare educational contexts and develop new perspectives on inclusion. Hosted at INSEI in Paris, it combines scientific knowledge with practical tools that can be transferred directly to participants’ own classrooms.

Join us in Paris to rethink accessibility, strengthen inclusive teaching practices, and make learning genuinely accessible to all.
